MONTAJES CONSERVEROS DE GALICIA (MCG) was created in Vigo in 1994 with the objective to offer a specialised and integral service to the food canneries, mainly with the seaming machines.
During these years, we have designed and manufactured spare parts, overhauled and update a wide range of filling and seaming machines and commercialised second-hand and seminews machines to more than 30 countries around the world.
Early in 2008, Mr. José Antonio G. Táboas becoming in unique owner of MCG. Since then, answering our customers´ demand, MCG starts to design and manufacture a new range of own seamers for canneries and can-makers.
In 2008, MCG has increased its production capacity adding a new plant and improving the service.
At present, MCG collaborates with an University and a Technological Centre to design and develop new seamers for new markets and materials.
Within this new phase and by agreements of agency and technical service for complementary machines, MCG bet for a complete service with added value.
